As photographers we heavily rely on softwares to manipulate and adjust our images but we want the digital tools we use to be disguised in the final picture. I felt the desire to break this habit and explore digital manipulation from a new perspective. I wanted to take each tool to the limit, applying it over and over on the same image, see how it would interpret my picture and, on a more subtle level, our reality. In doing so every tool I use becomes the author of the image as much as me. Echoing is the first result of this process of exploration.
